Thanksgiving! ;)

Is it just me or should we think about what we are thankful for more than just one time a year?

Well this year I have a lot of things I am thankful for so here is my list...
For my Family, Friends & their health, Our newest & healthy addition to the family Sophia, For God keeping my sister Becky safe during her car wreck, For God helping Bj Bane fight bone cancer, The growth of all the churches God has aloud us to help, Forgiveness & Grace, For 14 years of life, & most of all My Salvation through Jesus Christ my Lord & Saviour! :)

Love you guys & have a Happy Thanksgiving! :)

Slacker- Calvary Southern Baptist Church! :)

I Feel like I have been a really big slacker lately and I am so sorry to all of my blog followers! :(

But, For the past six weeks we have been at Calvary Southern Baptist Church in Meadow Bridge West Virginia working on a couple of projects but, mostly their new youth room I only have a couple of pictures of us working on painting it and I promise I will take some of the youth in the room within...well I would say the next week but, knowing me it will be within the next month. please forgive me! :)

Also while we have been there Dad has been doing what he does best "Preaching"!
The first time we ever went over there they had 6 people in Sunday School and 9 in the worship service...Two and half years later we had 45 in Sunday School and 66 people in worship and also 5 people got Baptist. Praise the Lord! Here is a picture of everyone who was Baptist Sunday!

Please keep Calvary Southern Baptist Church in your prayers as they go out and share Jesus Christ with the community!

BJ Bane.

Saturday night Kerrs Creek Baptist Church had a benefit concert for BJ Bane!

Back at Kerrs Creek Baptist Church for three weeks!

We have been off the road and at our home church (Kerrs Creek Baptist Church) for three weeks.
Last week was their 143rd anniversary-Home coming!

We had the singing group Men of Faith there to start off the morning, then Mr. Jim Thomas preached for us and to make the day better we had dinner on the grounds...ymmmmm!

For the evening service our amazing praise band "Sound Doctrine" put on a concert and during the concert we had testimony time..Its amazing how God moved during that time!

Another awesome thing about the day was that 7 years ago God moved the Volpes to Virginia, to look back and see all the work he has aloud us to do for him and all the souls that have been saved...its definitely safe to say that if you let God use your life great things will happen!

Bobert, BJ, Robert, Brother, Uncle, Son, Cousin, Nephew, Big Block, Friend, and most of all a FIGHTER!

BJ is my best friend DeAnna's brother but I never really think about him in that way to me he is just like family "my big bro".
He has four sisters, an awesome Mom & Dad, a brother-in-law, and a nephew!

BJ just turned 18 last month and was also diagnosed with bone cancer last month. I couldn't imagine hearing the words CANCER at any age much less 18!!!

He is the most humble person I think you'll ever meet, He loves to serve his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, He is the person you can call and know he'll be there to help no matter what, and most of all he knows God is letting him go through this to bring all honor and glory to His name!

On August 8th BJ had his first week of chemo.
My sister-in-law Christina put up the song strong enough and I think that is the best way to explain BJ he knows he is not strong enough to get through this by himself but, he knows without a doubt that God is in control and God has picked him for a reason. BJ thank you for being strong enough for the Lord to use you!

Benefit concert for Robert (BJ) Bane
Location: Kerrs Creek Baptist Church
Time: ‎6:00PM Saturday, September 17th
I hope you can come be apart of this for BJ.

BJ also has a blog so I hope you'll go check it out.

Hillcrest Baptist Church.

After two weeks of Vaction Bible School we went to Hillcrest Baptist Church in Spencer West Virginia!

While we were there for a week not only did we get to meet some extremely sweet people but, Dad also preached a revival, fixed their closet, He put tin on a side of  Pastor Barrys roof and also did some little repairs around the church for them!

Here is a picture of Dad preaching!

Here is two pictures of the guys working on the roof.

The revival started on Sunday morning and ended on Wednesday night..it was going to be a five service revival, but they asked Dad if he would preach at the nursing home on Sunday afternoon...so the five service revival turned into a six service revival but, you know the old saying "Nothing surprises God" he had already prepared Dad with Six sermons and Dad had no idea why until they asked him!

Here is a picture of five people Pastor Barry got to Baptist on Wednesday night!

Although we don't know the exact amount of people saved
we do know it was several and that God moved in a mighty and powerful way in the peoples lives at Hillcrest Baptist Church.

Vacation Bible School at Calvary Southern Baptist Church

After a week of Vacation Bible School at Kerrs Creek Baptist Church we went to Calvary Southern Baptist Church for another week of Vacation Bible School.

On Sunday morning "Sebby" (Dad) baptized two kiddoes!
Abel
 Abigail.
That was in awesome way to start out a week of Vacation Bible School.

At the end of the week was family night where all the classes got up on stage and did their class song!

After the classes did their performances it was time for Baptism!

Dad baptized twelve people.

After that it was down stairs to eat.

Every night during Vacation Bible School they took up in offering for the missionaries this summer!
They did a girls plate & a boys plate, if the girls give the most money Brandon got a pie in his face & if the boys give the most money Becky got a pie in her face... Well the boys won, so Becky got the pie!

But when the pie came out side things got a little crazy instead of only one person getting a pie in their face everybody did, it trued into a pie fight!

After two weeks of Vacation Bible School we were a little worn out, but to look back and see how God moved in peoples lives and also to look back at all the memories made in just two weeks...
It was worth every minute of it.

Vacation Bible School at Kerrs Creek Baptist Church

After the week at Lake MooMaw we came back home for a week to help out with Vacation Bible School at Kerrs Creek Baptist Church.

Every night during worship rally they took up in offering to help the missionaries this summer!
They did a girls plate & a boys plate,
if the boys won they put a pie in Brandi's face & if the girls won they put a pie in Bob's face...Well the boys won, so Brandi got the pie!

We don't know the exact amount of people saved, but we do know it was a bunch and Vacation Bible School is not only fun & games, but that peoples lives were changed forever more!
